In 2008, I was tasked with telling the story of a cool new Atlanta company with no ad budget. So AtlantaFresh Artisan Creamery became an early adopter of social media. An important foothold was established, to later leverage when the company went national in a social playing field that, by that time was crowded with global brands. This branding called for authenticity. So, foregoing professional food stylists and photographers, AtlantaFresh chose posts with the same honesty as its products.

Through paid social media campaigns each January, new product lines launched and new markets were introduced to AtlantaFresh products. The hashtag #cleanstart was used to refer to the organic products and the New Year. Working with digital media consultants, A/B testing, and analytics determined the images for each social channel.
